Ocean Plaza is located on the main promenade and is a great place to grab a drink before an activity happening in Ocean Plaza or if you’d like to grab a drink and sit outside on the Lanai. This bar is on the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic, Carnival Panorama, and Carnival Vista. Cucina del Capitano is Carnival’s signature Italian specialty restaurant. It’s available on many ships across the fleet (see here for full list). A Carnival cruise is definitely a “no judgment zone” when it comes to having a drink or two. You can find it on the Carnival Celebration, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Mardi Gras, and Carnival Panorama. Carnevale Bar & Lounge replaces the Havana Bar found on the Vista-class ships. It’s inspired by the Carnevale di Venezia, an annual festival held in Venice. Guests will find live music and fine Italian wines and cocktails. So you’ll find drinks served at the RedFrog Tiki Bar that aren’t served at the Havana Bar. And you’ll find drinks at the Havana Bar that aren’t on the menu at the Alchemy Bar.

On my sailing, I stayed in a balcony cabin, which was elegantly decorated in neutrals with blue accents. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of storage space. I Drank More Than I Normally Would Have With my Drink Package
An addition to the popular Guy’s Smokehouse, this pub serves an exclusive line of Parched Pig craft beers. Here, you can enjoy Cuban coffees, Cuban sodas and rum-based cocktails. Found on almost all Carnival ships (except Carnival Paradise), the Alchemy bar is a cross between a bar and a pharmacy! This vintage-themed cocktail bar is the place to go if you like to see tantalising cocktail creations mixed before your eyes.

Of the performances, I most enjoyed two main-theater shows that are also found on some other ships in the fleet. I'm not a huge drinker, so I didn't personally try cocktails from the Center Stage Bar (Deck 6) or Grand View Bar (Deck 7) in Grand Central. Most of the drinks have increased by $1 since I took these pictures – some by $1.50. I believe these prices are still the same as they were, though that might change by the time you read this. Sure, Carnival Jubilee carries a lot of people, and it can feel crowded and cumbersome to learn your way around at first. Carnival claims that its packages don't allow FaceTime, iMessage or streaming from popular apps like Netflix and Hulu. My two most disappointing extra-fee food encounters on Carnival Jubilee were Seafood Shack (Deck 16, in the Lido zone, near the pool) and room service. Done up in bright, tropical colors, these rooms offer extended outdoor lounge space and private access to the Havana Pool and Bar area. As for drinks, I ordered a Snapping Pop at Dr. Inks., Ph.D.
On my sailing, the bartenders were phenomenal and even remembered that I prefer non-dairy milk with my lattes. I was travelling solo on this cruise, which made adding the drink package a no-brainer. If there are three adults in a cabin, it becomes $795 – and that’s likely more than most people paid for a cruise of this length in an entry-level stateroom. So, if you’re getting bored with cocktails and beverages, the Coffee bar on deck 5 is the best place to taste hot beverages. This adults only space is one of the largest 18+ pool decks we have ever seen.
